Salamanca Nightmarket & Food Hawkers: Makati's Newest Weekend Market

Salamanca Food Hawker & Nightmarket

If you love food markets then here's another treat for you. It's called the Salamanca Nightmarket & Food Hawkers located at the A.Venue parking in Makati Avenue. This was originally launched as Up Til Dawn Nightmarket & Food Hawkers and they had a soft opening last April 27. They later changed it Salamanca, the name of the street where it is located.

It's a relatively new food market just like the weekend markets of Salcedo Village and Legaspi Village in Makati. Just don't expect to be as massive though. They also have a live band playing so you'll also get some free entertainment while you're there.

Some of the food stalls that caught my hungry tummy's attention were Veccitto's Grill and Pinoy Peri Peri for their marinated meats in Portuguese style, Med.Chef for their homemade desserts and Anna's Pizza & Pasta for their Italian dishes. Some stalls were actually familiar to me because I've also seen them in Banchetto Forum. Oh and you can also find other goodies and services here such as garage sales, art works, tattoo printing and even fortune tellers too!

They say great things start from small beginnings and Salamanca has a potential to be another crowd drawer especially for those who love to eat. Salcedo and Legaspi Villages' weekend markets started a few years ago and now look how big it has already become. Even Banchetto started out just a few months ago and now it already has 3 branches and continues to gain more patrons especially on weekends. So if you happen to be somewhere near Makati Avenue then try this new food market for a change.

Salamanca Nightmarket & Food Hawkers is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 3am.

  4. A perfect, safe place to unwind and dine. Surely a recommendable place to go, relaxing, good food, friendly people, clean place and lots of fun too. Where else to go if you can't sleep yet on a weekend? lismanuel@aol.com

  6. Thank you for sharing Vin! ^_^ My former officemate has work until 11pm so I believe that going here next week is a better alternative than looking for restaurants that are still open at this time. I would love to try the Italian dishes! :)
